Tarts Times Two

Pesto Pin-Wheel

Monday 28 February 2011

I couldn't get enough of Snapple peach ice tea. Do we sell it in England? And for anyone that knows me, knows that I LOVE guacamole, so I was extremely excited when I came across these guacachips in one of the supermarkets!  After Central Park we headed over to the Upper West Side to check out New York Fashion Week at the Lincon Centre. Not sure who she is but lots of people were taking tons of photos of her! Thought this girl was so cute! Loved her hair. I feel like this man just dressed like this to get attention...and it worked! Attention he got. Street style photos. Loved the furs! Hard Rock Cafe; my favourite place on earth! Ferris wheel in Toys r' us. The Barbie & My Little Pony cars were definitely the best ones there! My sister loving the Barbie Mansion. Display in Forever21. EVERYBODY NEEDS A KEN. For Valentines day 2011. The guys looked extremely plastic, freaked me out a bit. Planet Hollywood for an early dinner. Me loving the Mojitos. My rather large but amazing burrito! Had to take half home with me. Wearing New Look tunic. Michael Kors watch. Felder Felder cuff. Times Square. Empire State Building on Valentines. Went completely against Valentines & went to a Carney gig at the Bowery Ballroom. Never heard of them before but I absolutely loved it. The ballroom is a really cute little cool place, if I was a New Yorker I would definitely hang out there as much as I could.

Day 3 coming soon!

Thursday 24 February 2011

So i'm back from New York which i'm very upset about. I love that city. Definitely one of my favorite's in the world.
1 & 2) Our first breakfast on a little diner of off 5th av. Was a classic american place which was perfect! My sister had the grilled cheese & I though I would try the pancakes, bacon & syrup! It was strangely amazing, wierd but good!

3) After breakfast we had a wonder round central park, they must of had tons of snow before we got there. It was all so beautiful.

4) Outfit of the day. Tunic from New Look, Coat & Scarf from River Island, Biker Boots from Peacocks, Leggings from H&M.

5, 6 & 7) We then went to the apple store, which was crazy busy! I don't understand that that many people can be buying laptops & iphones etc all at the same time. I'm guessing it's more the experience. We then went to the FAO Swartz toystore next door which Kirsty from Fashion Champagne recommended as they had the most amazing cupcakes! They did not disappoint. I had the red velvet & it was amazing.
I pretty much loved the Barbie section, I don't care how old I am. I love all things pink & Barbie like. I would like someone to buy me the Barbie foozeball  table, it's only $25,000.....anyone?

8) We wondered round Greenwich village, was so beautiful & ended up in Washington square park. I love the fact that there was just a random man with a piano in the park.

9) Cute little cupcakes from a street vendor. Not as good as the toy store ones though! Think I may of put on 20pounds whilst being in new york. wonderful. I blame all the goodies they offer us!
10, 11 & 12) Thought we would visit Grand Central on the way back & found out there was going to be something happening in a hour or 2 so we thought we would stick around. It ended up being a flash mob of around 150 dancers/models all wearing Moncler ski wear for Fashion week. So was pretty lucky to get there at that time!

13) Ended up at Hard Rock Cafe with a beautiful pomegranate martini. Yum.

Stay tuned for day 2...

xoxo...
